FAMILY & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION MINISTRY
 
 
 
I. MISSION STATEMENT (brief statement of purpose)
 
The MISSION of the FAMILY & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION is to nurture the relationship among school families and the connection between school families and their school with a special emphasis on promoting involvement in parish worship.
 
II. GOAL (“end-product” …desired outcome for those to whom this ministry is directed)
 
The GOAL of the FAMILY & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION is for school families to feel connected to one another and to their school and parish through socialization, fundraising events, information sharing evenings, and parish Sunday worship.
 
III. OBJECTIVES (corollaries, strategies, priorities flowing from mission and goal)
1. To provide opportunities for socialization between school families and school.
2. To promote fund raising for the school.
3. To provide opportunities for parents to develop an increased understanding of their child’s educational progress.
4. To promote greater participation of school families in parish Sunday worship.
 
IV. SERVICES (programs, actions, projects)
1. Running fundraising events for school.
2. Acting as liaison between faculty/staff/administration and parents.
3. Coordinating special events at school for administration and parents.
