ADULT ENRICHMENT MINISTRY
I. MISSION STATEMENT (brief statement
of purpose)
The MISSION of the ADULT ENRICHMENT
MINISTRY is to publicize and promote
opportunities for adults to enrich their
faith life and commitment to Christ
and his Church. The Adult Enrichment
Ministry strives to develop creative
ways to recruit parishioners for leadership
training opportunities which will enhance
skills needed to be effective disciples
of Christ.
II. GOAL (“end product”

whom this ministry is directed)
The GOAL of the ADULT ENRICHMENT MINISTRY
is for parishioners to rekindle a relationship
with the Church so that the mystery
of Christ becomes the consuming passion
of their lives, and they possess an
eagerness to acquire
the knowledge, compassion and skills
to become his hands, feet, voice and
heart in this world.
III. OBJECTIVES (corollaries, strategies,
priorities flowing from mission and
goal)
1. To establish a coordinating committee
to provide for implementation of ministry’s
mission and goal, a system of leadership
succession, and representation on the
commission.
2. To promote a deeper understanding
of the mystery of Christ and its implications
for adult faith-life.
3. To find creative ways to help adult
parishioners become spiritually energized,
especially through media skills, working
in close collaboration with the Parish
Communications Ministry.
4. To develop creative ways to promote
and recruit parishioners for leadership
training.
5. To collaborate with other parish
ministries in sponsor- ing and promoting
programs that enhance knowledge, understanding
and skills.
IV. SERVICES (programs, actions,
projects)
1. Publicizing adult formation and training
opportunities in Topics, Words of Wisdom
Newsletter, community newspapers, website,
etc.
2. Maintaining CARENOTES in church gathering
area.
3. Collaboration with other ministries
to sponsor and publicize faith-sharing
groups and leadership training programs.
4. Coordinating adult participation
in personal witness program during the
Sunday homily.
