MSW PARISH SCHOOL MINISTRY
I. MISSION STATEMENT
(brief statement of purpose)
The MISSION of the MSW PARISH SCHOOL
is to provide excellence in the education
of students both academically and in
Catholic faith formation. This formation
fosters a spirituality rooted in the
mystery of Christ. MSW Parish School
strives to educate and empower elementary
level students with the knowledge, values
and skills that will allow them to develop
into active participants and leaders
in both church and world communities.
II. GOAL (“end-product”

whom this ministry is directed)
The GOAL of MSW PARISH SCHOOL is to
provide experiences which allow students
to develop their highest potential academically,
physically, socially and emotionally.
In addition, as a Catholic School our
goal is to enable each child to embrace
a spirituality which guides all other
areas of development and which is rooted
in the mystery of the whole Christ.
Through interactions with instruction,
scripture, sacraments, prayer, and service,
and by focusing on everyday behavior
and decisions that are made, students
are strive to strengthen their relationship
with Christ.
III. OBJECTIVES (corollaries,
strategies, priorities flowing from
mission and goal)
1. To provide well-developed written
curriculum for academic and religious
formation.
2. For students, according to their
level of development, to have an understanding
of the sacraments, history of salvation,
sacred scripture and the proclaiming
nature of the Eucharistic Prayer.
3. To offer teachers the support and
materials necessary for them to implement
the written curriculum in a manner that
is challenging, motivating and reflective
of our faith.
4. To provide an environment which is
conducive to learning and permeated
by everyone’s respect for one
another.
5. To provide extracurricular activities
which address individual interests and
the development of the whole child.
6. To support parents in their role
as primary educators of their children
through the sharing of ideas and in-
formation relative to the growth of
their children.

- art, intramurals, newspaper, homework,
