BELOVED RETREAT MINISTRY
I. MISSION STATEMENT

The MISSION of the BELOVED RETREAT
MINISTRY is to provide opportunities
to understand and be committed to what
it truly means to be baptized and loved
by God.
II. GOAL (“end-product”

whom this ministry is directed)
The GOAL of the BELOVED RETREAT MINISTRY is
for parishioners to lead a Christian
life based on a deeper understanding
of God's love as revealed in the paschal
mystery with its corresponding responsibilities.
III. OBJECTIVES (corollaries,
strategies, priorities flowing from
mission and goal)
1. To promote a spiritual growth in
the lives of parishioners through a
spiritual process centered on acceptance
of our status as Beloved in Christ.
2. To help parishioners identify the
barriers which limit their opening
themselves to God's love
3. To help participants identify the
true abundance that God provides in
our lives.
4. Over a five-year period to have
500 adults go through weekend Beloved
Retreat experiences.
5. Because this is a core parish priority,
to seek the involvement of other parish
ministries in promoting and recruiting
participation in Beloved Retreats.
