LITURGICAL ART & ENVIRONMENT MINISTRY
I. MISSION STATEMENT (brief statement
of purpose)
The MISSION of the ART & ENVIRONMENT
MINISTRY is to plan and coordinate
the details of decoration of the worship
space for all major feasts and seasons
of the liturgical year, so as the enhance
the prayer of the worshipping assembly.
II. GOAL (“end-product”

whom this ministry is directed)
The GOAL OF THE ART & ENVIRONMENT MINISTRY
is for parishioners to be spiritually
energized through a liturgically decorated
and prayerful environment that helps
them to lift up their hearts to give
"glory and honor to God."
III. OBJECTIVES (corollaries,
strategies, priorities flowing from
mission and goal)
1. For ministry members to be kept
aware and informed of their role in
the service of liturgical worship through
regular meetings, on-going education
and workshops offered by the Archdiocesan
Office for Divine Worship, etc.
2. To work with the Parish Liturgical
Coordinator and Liturgy Planning Teams
on preperation through dialogue at
the planning meetings.
3. To review the scripture, study the
various church documents on environment
and art in liturgical worship, in order
to prepare the worship space for feasts
and seasons of the year.
4. To keep and review records of decoration
of the space, in order to assist bridal
parties in their preparation for floral
decorations, etc.
IV. SERVICES (programs, actions,
projects)
1. Creating liturgical environments
for seasons and ordinary time.
2. Setting up and maintaining these
environments.
