The mission of the Mary, Seat of Wisdom Youth Ministry Program, CRUX, is to encourage teens to explore and deepen their faith, assist them in their personal and spiritual development, help them connect with the MSW community, and to see themselves as disciples of Christ who "out of love, put themselves at the service of others."

CRUX is a program for high school teenagers, freshman through senior years. CRUX, meaning “cross” and “central focus” intends to place Christ at the center of teens’ lives in ways that allow them to build their relationship with God through interaction with others of all ages. This program encourages exploration of the Catholic faith by reading Scripture, reaching out to those in need, delighting in fun moments where new discoveries are unveiled, and developing leadership skills. Members of CRUX embody the Catholic faith through service within our parish and beyond, becoming Christ-centered adults.

CRUX is dedicated to helping teens grasp the spirituality of the mystery of Christ, finding creative ways to help high school youth become spiritually energized, providing opportunities for them to dedicate their talents and skills to the community, developing their commitment to the Catholic faith, and fostering a commitment to Christian morals and values. Through youth meetings, service projects, retreats, worship, liturgy and outreach, CRUX provides a structure in which all aspects of Christian life are fostered and nurtured in our teens.
