"The nation doesn’t simply need what we have. It needs what we are."

- -St. Teresia Benedicta (Edith Stein)

The Young Adult Ministry hopes to deepen the faith life of single and married young adults in their early twenties to early forties through Eucharistic celebration, retreats, spiritual development opportunities and service to others.  We endeavor to keep young adults connected to their Catholic identity and help them see the face of their God more clearly. Young adults experience spiritual growth through informative and inspirational presentations about the challenges of living a faith-filled life in today's society, are offered opportunities to serve those in need through volunteer efforts, and are given opportunities to connect their faith life to everyday experiences and challenges.

Young Adult Ministry members may participate as lectors, greeters, music ministers, and Eucharistic ministers, especially at the monthly Young Adult-ministered Mass.  Other opportunities are participation in regularly-scheduled "Couples and Conversation" events, offering food and conversation with other young adults about faith and family life, and a special Parenting with God One-Day retreat designed for parents of young children to explore the joys offered when parenting in partnership with God. Opportunities to serve others are offered regularly.
